Yesterday was a tragedy, Today's a victory!

Miss Philippines Maria Venus Raj, a 22-year old native of Bicol province, was named the fourth runner-up.

Raj, was visibly nervous by the question thrown at her by William Baldwin ("What is one big mistake you made in ur life and what did you do to make it right?") but was still able to respond with grace and poise, saying that she has never had any major problem so far because she was confident with her family and the love that she receives from them.

Still, being the 4th placer isn't that bad. Top 5 is still something! Hello? there were 83 of them! :)

After yesterday's bloody-hostage-taking incident, Venus' victory today lifted our spirits up in a major, major (already a trending topic in twitter. hahaha) way! She may not have answered the Q & A very well but the heck - she brought us back the PINOY PRIDE! :D We salute you! You make us proud!


It took one man to bring the country to shame. Let one woman bring back its flame. REDEMPTION!!!
